no. 1 - move your workspace outdoors. sitting at the deck table (right next to our newly planted garden!) is making the process a whole lot more bearable.
no. 2 - bribery. it works, guys. my mama bought sparkling water lemonade (the only canned drink i will ever love) and said i could only have it if i was studying. all of the sudden, making dozens of review flashcards seemed like fun...
no. 3 - take a break. get in the car. hop on your bike. go somewhere. the greenhouse is my chosen place of respite.
Back to studying for me. Any tips? I'll take 'em.
Abbey, you're awesome. I love your posts!! This is very good advice.
ReplyDeleteI love the first photo. Oh my, could it be any more perfect? Those daisies, the colors... wow.
ReplyDeleteAnd I also love the fact that I can always tell who is writing the post on here by the photos. :)
I agree with all of the above! I'm excited for summer!!
ReplyDeleteAh, beautiful pictures! :) and LOVE this post- I`ll definitely have to try bribing myself ;)

Oh, beautiful pictures! And great tips for not pulling your hair during finals. <3
ReplyDeleteabbey, i lovelovelove you. just so you know.
ReplyDeleteI just finished with finals - spent the entirety of my studying outside on the porch. 'twas the best.
ReplyDeletePretty pictures and good luck girl! You can get through it! :-)
ReplyDeleteI find if I'm working on the computer (which is a lot in my degree as all the readings are online) to disconnect completely from the internet. I often find tumblr very distracting and come across a fair few new blogs while I am studying. not a good thing! And apparently, I don't know if this is related but nutella sales go up in NZ during exam time (according to a dairy shop owner), its all those uni kids get sweets and sugar to pull all nighters of studying. Also studying is so much more fun if you get a group of buddies together, bring food and work through it!!
ReplyDeleteIronically, I should be revising now. Anyway... San Pellegrino is the best. And it's raining right now, but I'll revise in front of the window instead.
ReplyDeleteI love that lemon drink! :) And the greenhouse sounds like a lovely place to take a break.
ReplyDeleteyour photos never cease to amaze me. just wow.
