Why we do this, I'm not quite sure. But more often than not, we pull over when we see one. I guess it's just our thing. My words of advice to you, friends? Do yourselves a favour and add this to your bucket list: see golden hour from the top of a hay bale stack. Pure magic.
xo,
sounds magical♥

ReplyDeleteso lovely. next time i see one we'll have to pull over, preferably a bale not wrapped in blue plastic. and if i can get a sprinkling of snow too? even better.

Yes!! I do this during the summer, because we have some right up the road! It is one of my most favorite things to do!

My grandparents live on a farm less than two minutes from our house and during the summer we love to climb on the hay bales! It's so much fun. (Except sometimes it gets a bit prickly, LOL.) I have yet to take pictures of them, though.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like so much fun! And your shoes are so cute.
ReplyDeleteWhy do hay bales suddenly look so beautiful? Good job, photographer! Hay bales hold a certain romance for me... I live next to a farm that takes in the hay every year. Those days are long and golden in my memory.
